Vault id fallout shelter8/19/2023 Sending people to the wasteland is also helpfull. Asign more dwellers to the resource rooms, train their stats, give them outfits. Why do you think most people are so afraid of nuclear power? Small chance on failure, but you are simply not allowed to take any risks.Ī tip: once you need to rush to keep up with resources, than there is something wrong. If it would mean that a low chance on failure will cause a disaster on your vault. Chances on failure increases, and that you had bad luck already doesn't mean it has to succeed next times. Then don't rush another time without thinking. You failed a rush at 21% chance? Surely the next rush of 31% will work, cause you just had your bad luck already. The key to victory is to not depend on luck, and consider the bad luck. Once things start to fall down a bit, things tend to go worse. Meanwhile my 'good' vault is still ticking away like a well oiled machine.and it's become a little boring.Įvery run is different. I know must will dismiss this as the exaggerations of an impatient gamer in denial, but the reason I 'grasped at straws' as it were was because it was so amazingly unlikely that it could be so constantly unsuccessful that I figured there had to be some other factor at work.ĭitched Vault 519, started Vault 520 using same principles and approach, and so far so good. It would be dumb if your vault number affected anything, but how else can you explain constant failure, again and again? Seemed odd, that's why I was wondering if there were any secret factors that could work against you. Instead I got just constant failure, despite the good odds. That was one of the things I learned from my other vault, and the reason I wanted to start this one. I hear what you're saying, but I was taking it slowly. I never had this much bad bad bad luck in one vault.Ĭrazy question but.can your vault number affect your luck? In the end all that remained was one pregnant dweller, running around screaming.Įven in my previous vaults that failed, they only failed due to bad planning. They were all eventually killed by the roaches. The roaches killed them all, so I brought in dwellers from other rooms. And with their rad poisoning the dwellers didn't last long. I had a room full of six dwellers vs three rad roaches. Everyone was starving abd had rad poisoning. About 99% of rush attempts failed, even when I only had a 21% chance of failure. So after a few rough starts I have a good vault going, but having learned a thing or two I thought I'd also run a new one and see how it went.
